CasaGarage presented a redesign of the iconic Renault 5 at the Salone del Mobile in Milan to combine the concept of automotive interior design with the domestic one.
The interiors have been completely covered with the highest quality fabrics produced by Decobel which together with the parquet laid on the floor and the custom-designed wall lamps in collaboration with Estro create a warm and comfortable environment.
The exterior has been completely repainted with a special paint which thanks to a pronounced texture recalls a real plastered wall, three different shades have been used giving the small R5 an unmistakable style.
The project was born from the idea of revolutionizing the world of interior design by integrating it with that of the car, treating the latter not as a means of transport but as a design work.
Thanks to the collaboration of many companies we have been able to completely rethink the Renault 5 using materials, finishes and products of the highest quality and Made in Italy.
Despite being designed as a show car we wanted to do things right and before carrying out any redesign work we completely overhauled the car so that it is 100% functional and ready to amaze car and design enthusiasts wherever it goes.
